Saturday morning there were balloons flying over Bend -
part of the annual Bend Balloon Festival
At noon on Saturday there was a procession of contestants and their friends
from downtown Bend to the Schwab Ampitheater where the competition was held.
It was led by members of the local Central Oregon Mustache and Beard Society.
State flags were carried by competitors in the procession.
Thirty states, Canada and Germany were represented.
